ABOUT BAHA'IS
"A kindly tongue is the lodestone of the hearts of men" ~ Baha'u'llah
"The One righteous act is endowed with a potency that can so elevate the dust as to cause it to pass beyond the heaven of heavens. It can tear every bond asunder, and hath the power to restore the force that hath spent itself and vanished."
~ Baha’u’llah
GREENWICH BAHA'I COMMUNITY
The Greenwich Baha'i community is one of 127 local Baha'i communities in UK. All races, ages, and social classes come together to create a warm and authentic sense of community. What the members of this community share in common is their adherence to the Baha’i Faith.
The Baha'i Faith is the youngest of the world's independent monotheistic religions. Founded in 1844, it now has more than six million adherents in 236 countries and territories. Baha'i come from nearly every national, ethnic and religious background, making the Baha'i Faith the second most widespread religion in the world.
Baha'is view the world's major religions as a part of a single, progressive process through which God reveals His will to humanity. The worldwide Baha’i community, composed of people from virtually every racial, ethnic and religious background, is working to give practical expression to a vision of world unity. The unity that must underpin a peaceful and just social order embraces diversity. Oneness and diversity are complementary and inseparable.
Baha’u’llah compares humankind to the fruits of one single tree and the diverse and beautiful flowers of a single garden. We work with our neighbours underpinned with a principle of shared purpose and mutual support to contribute towards the advancement of Southwark and its people.

Some of the friends and families from the Greenwich community at Greenwich Park
"Be thou ever hopeful, for the bounties of God never cease to flow upon man. If viewed from one perspective they seem to decrease, but from another they are full and complete. Man is under all conditions immersed in a sea of God’s blessings. Therefore, be thou not hopeless under any circumstances, but rather be firm in thy hope."
